ARMY MEDICAL COLLEGE AND GET COMMISSION IN PAKISTAN ARMY
Applications are invited for admission into 34th MBBS (from males/females) and 12th BDS Course (from male only) commencing tentatively during September / October 2009 in Army Medical College Rawalpindi , affiliated with NUST for the following seats:-

Eligibility. Candidates must fulfill the following conditions of eligibility:-
Qualifications. FSc (Pre-medical) with minimum 70% marks except candidates from Balochistan, Sind, (District Tharparkar, Omar Kot) Northern Areas, Azad Kashmir and FATA having domicile and local certificates who can apply with 65% marks. Senior Cambridge/GCE “O” level pass (English being compulsory) in five subjects plus “A” level passed in Biology, physics and Chemistry with minimum grade C/6.
Notes

Candidates possessing foreign qualifications such as Senior Cambridge or “O” level and “A” level etc will be required to obtain an equivalence certificate and conversion of marks from Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC), Ministry of Education, Islamabad and attach with the application form.
Candidates who have passed FSc Part-I examination and appearing in FSc Part-II examination in various Education Boards may apply, subject to the provision of “Hope” certificate by the Principal of their respective colleges that they will pass the said examination with aggregate of minimum 70% marks and 65% marks in case of candidates from Balochistan, Sind, (District Tharparkar, Omar Kot) Northern Areas, Azad Kashmir and FATA.
Candidates appearing in supplementary examination from any board of education are not eligible.
Age. 17 Years to 21 Years on 1st November of the year relax able for 3 months both in upper and lower age limit under special circumstances.
Marital Status. Unmarried.
Nationality. Male/Female citizens of Pakistan and having domiciles of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Northern Areas. If Pakistani candidates are possessing dual nationality, they must cancel second nationality before joining the Army. In case they fail to get their second nationality cancelled within one year of joining Army Medical College, they will be discharged from the College Roll. They will forego their commission and will also be liable to pay the bond money, training and other charges incurred upon them.

Ineligibilities. Following are ineligible to apply:-
Twice screened out or rejected by ISSB/GHQ Selection Board.
Previously declared medically unfit by an Appeal Medical Board/Combined Medical Board (CMB) for Army, Navy and PAF.
Released or discharged or withdrawn from Armed Forces or any of its training establishment on grounds of inefficiency or indiscipline.
Convicted by Court of Law for an offence involving moral turpitude.

All candidates will deposit the following documents with Army Selection and Recruitment Centre (AS&RCs) before the written test;
6 x attested passport size photographs.
2 x attested photocopy of Matric certificate. In case of ‘O’ Level/’A’ Level, submission of Equivalence certificate issued by IBCC is mandatory.
2 x attested photocopies of FSc Part-I (Pre-Medical) details marks sheet and “Hope” certificate from Principal of college that the candidate will get minimum 70% marks in FSc Part-II Examination.
Candidates who have already cleared FSc Part-II (Pre-Medical) will produce attested 4 x Photocopies of Detail Marks Sheets (DMC).
2 x attested photocopies of National Identity Card issued by NADRA or Form ‘B’.
Candidates from Balochistan, Sindh (District Tharparkar, Omar Kot) Northern Areas, Azad Kashmir and FATA will provide photocopy of their Domicile/Local Certificate duly attested.
Intelligence test, personality profile and interviews of successful candidates will be held by the GHQ Selection Board at Army Medical College, Rawalpindi for which separate call letters shall be issued.
Medical examination will be held at Military Hospitals near to the home stations of candidates as evident of their addresses.
Final selection will be made at GHQ on merit

Academic

Military Training. 22 x Weeks Basic Military Training (BMT) at PMA Kakul (for male Cadets) and at AFPGMI Rawalpindi (for female Cadets) after completion of final professional examination.
Bond. Finally selected candidates will be required to sign a Bond to serve the Army for a minimum period of 13 years. The applicability of Bond will commence on completion of MBBS/BDS Degree Course at Army Medical College.
Commission. On completion of MBBS/BDS Studies at AM College and military training at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, Cadets will be commissioned in the Pakistan Army as Captain.
